I am blessed to have a Father with a strong work ethic and the fruit of his labor is compelling. His winning formula is hard work, focus and creating leverage in businesses he is passionate about. Dad has built several businesses from scratch that reached 7-figure annual revenues. He’s your classic entrepreneur and the finest Man I’ve ever known. He use to say, “Everyone who makes it big is passionate about what they are doing. There is no greatness without passion.” Passion builds over time as you develop expertise/creativity and as you see the impact of your unique contribution on the world.
Passion is the great energizer of your talents. It moves you through obstacles like a sharp knife through warm butter. Passion drives you onward and upward when the going gets tough, the market is shrinking and everything around you says you should quit. Passion says, burn the ships behind me, I will not retreat. I will not stop three feet from Gold…..Passion sounds like my friend/client Brian Peart, (who will earn 7-figures in Q1 in the mortgage market) “You can always grow market share regardless of what’s happening externally and as an individual there is always more business than you can physically handle yourself. So stop whining and start working!” So what’s your passion? And maybe more importantly, what’s getting in your way of fully expressing it?
